Diving relieves stress
How many times have you heard people complain about stress? In today’s world, we are overwhelmed with worries, problems, pressures and challenges.
Most of the time, we fantasize about our vacation to try to rest and recharge, or find a hobby or sport that will help relieve stress. If you haven’t thought about it, diving could certainly help you get rid of some of the stress.
Some dive only during the holidays, but many times try to find locations in their surroundings to continue diving throughout the year, as this helps relieve them from the daily stress. Start with an Open Water PADI certification that gives you beginner diving techniques and theory and the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful reefs and sightseeing incredible underwater life.
There is only you, your diving equipment and your diving partner.
If you continue with your diving courses, after perfecting your buoyancy and truly starting to enjoy weightlessness, your mind will slowly clear as well, leaving everything that bothers you outside the water surface. You will only think about your dive and mail, phone calls, traffic jams and everyday problems will seem so far away … Underwater you will find peace and quiet, your mind, body and soul concentrating on taking everything from your surroundings. There are no sounds, you can hear only the breathing … the sounds of the empty air bubbles …
Once the dive is complete, the “silence” continues. Many times, after a dive, divers are overwhelmed with themselves, with their thoughts and in silence once again reliving their dives while others share what they have seen and share information about the various underwater species. It still just goes to show that all the worries and problems of daily life for divers have not been in my head for a long time even after diving …
And further … staying on a diving ship with all that blue around us, the smell of the sea and the feeling of freedom … the smell of Mediterranean vegetation … flocks of seagulls and dolphin families that immerse and emerge …
Millions of divers dive around the world every day and they all have their “reason” …
